Cooke concerning goldmining in the Pilbara - Bamboo Creek/Marble Bar area (1892-1993); diary kept by N.W. Cooke of a journey with L.J. Cooke, T. Scott and Monkey (an Aborigine) by team and cart from Roebourne to Roy Hill station, describing daily weather and giving an account of activities, carting stores, visits to stations en route, cattle, people met with, etc. (1893-1894); diary of a member of the Cooke family (M.L. Cooke?) describing journey by ship on the "Sultan" from Port Hedland to Onslow, extended visits to Mineroo and Yanrey stations and to Winning Pool to inspect pastoral country, anecdotes of De Pledge family and employees on Yanrey station, visit to father N.W.
